Luciano Ferreira

Luciano Ferreira plastic artist and teacher, was born in Jales, São Paulo, discovered his passion for art since childhood as an autodidact, understanding that the paths taken by the artistic connection, would be able to lead him to the universe of creativity... His academic training began in 2005 at the Academy of Fine Arts Dr. Jose Figueroa Alcorta, founded in 1896 under the direction of Emilio Caraffa, in the city of Cordoba, Argentina, receiving the title of Professor of Arts in Visual Arts, upon returning to Brazil, completed his postgraduate studies at UNIRP, as Interior Designer.
Currently appropriates a pictorial expressive surrealist style, where extracts from each theme proposed and presented, simple figures with strong traces and vibrant colours, merging art and science through research articles, human social curiosities and their feelings. Converting this information into images that speak about plastic possibilities, which, although illogical, become acceptable for their own composition, in an experience between the real and the imaginary, the comparative and demonstrative of the creative possibilities of art and science that portray various socio-cultural criticisms, inviting viewers to a deep reflection in each work. These works have been highlighted in Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Colombia, Italy and Mexico.
