Rogério Fernandes discovered his passion for the natural plasticity of organic forms through his integration in the southern region of Minas Gerais and the observation of ancient roots aged by the action of time.

The artist reuses old techniques and artisanal tools, using raw materials from the forest where he lives, such as roots and branches of Candeia, Peroba, Pau-brasil and Jacarandá, among other woods. Rogério makes beautiful sculptures like trees, dragonflies, ants, birds. It is a kind of "second chance" for the life of the discarded nature itself and, through his art, nature is reborn under the artist's eyes.
